First off, the body is light and fits snug against your body. The neck is thin and fast and the combo manetic and Piezo pic-ups give it an incredible range of tone. Ours is used but very nice. It has never been abused and shows only modest wear. The worst wear is to the black chrome which has discolored some. Also, the volume knob is is non matching. Otherwise, it came to us in good condition with strings that still have life in them. Rather than be wasteful, we have included a new set of Martin Lights for your next change. This awesome little bass includes a matching Ibanez hard case ( glove fit ) that is in vgood condition. No Reserve... This is an early nineties Ibanez ATK300FL Factory FRETLESS bass in Tobacco Sunburst made in Korea. I've been playing bass for over 20 years now. I play through an Ampeg B-15 Portaflex tube amp and this bass with the active preamp can just handle anything you throw at it. It looks like a fretted bass until you get about two feet away from it. It has a unique sound and depending on the strings you put on it pretty much sounds like an upright bass.. For the money, this bass is second to none The bass is in excellent shape and looks the part. Minor wear on the body, the neck is mint, always used with flatwounds. I repeat, this bass is a factory fretless NOT a de-freted instrument. These are really rare and very hard to come by, and of course out of production for a long time now, specially in this color, check out what the fretless Stingrays go for, because that is what you'll be getting. If you need any more info please ask. Do your homework, read reviews and if you want buy it. If you win the auction you must e-mail me immediately before you submit your payment, otherwise your payment will be refunded. You'll be getting the bass and the camo case in the background. Wonderful Fender Artist Series JACO PASTORIUS jazz bass, in the original G&G case. In Fantastic condition, a couple of tiny nicks {nothing through the finish} and a couple of very minor surface scratches. This bass comes from the collection of one of our best long term customers. This bass may have been played, but only a couple of times. This is a fretless bass with a Pau Ferro fretboard. P-Bass style knurled knobs. Vol-Vol-Tone electronics. Vintage style reverse tuners. Special Jaco neck plate. Check Fender's site for all the special features. All of the hang tags, warranty cards, owners manuals, etc are included. Also included are the case keys, original strap, cord, pickguard, thumb rest, bridge cover, pickup cover, and mute assembly. Please note that on this bass, None of the holes for the pickguard, bridge cover, pickup cover, and thumb rest are drilled. That's the way Fender shipped these beauties. The pickguard still has the film on it, and it has curled slightly over time. It should flatten out fine when {if} it is installed. The case is in excellent condition as well, but has one scrape on the end where the leather is curled {pictured}. Shouldn't be hard to fix. Not a big deal , but worth mentioning.
